All members and associates of the Fellowship subscribe to the following collective statements of faith based on the confession of faith of the FCCA-International.
The Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments in their original form, is the fully inspired and only infallible Word of God. We accept it as the supreme and final authority in all matters of doctrine, faith and life.
We believe in the principle of Sola Scriptura, which means that the Holy scripture and only the Holy scripture, is the ultimate authoritative Word of God and only the Holy scripture is required to understand the Holy scriptures.
There is only one God, who is self-revealed in three persons: the Father, (Abba) the Son (Jesus Christ / Yeshua Ha Mashiach), and the Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha Kodesh). These are the three eternal distinctions in one Divine Being.
The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth as the only begotten Son of God, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, His personal future return to reign in power and glory.
Man was created good and upright in the image and likeness of God. But man, by voluntary transgression, fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ the Son of the living God.
The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in atoning blood, believing in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary and His glorious death and resurrection.
Man is justified by grace alone and this through faith in Jesus Christ.
They who receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour by faith, are born again by the Holy Spirit and become Children and heirs of God. The New Birth is absolutely necessary for personal salvation and eternal life.
The Lord Jesus appointed two sacraments: (a) believer's baptism by immersion in water as a public witness and confession of faith and identification with Christ declaring that we have died and been buried with Jesus and have also been raised with Him to walk with Him in newness of life, symbolical of being baptized into one body, and (b) the Lord's Supper is the partaking of the emblems, the bread and the fruit of the vine, in remembrance of His suffering death and resurrection. This being a continuous reminder of the prophecy of His second coming, for all believers, until He comes.
The sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the born-again Christian believer (disciple) is enabled to live a life of righteousness and true holiness.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit with the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, as the Spirit gives them utterance and the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit for the edification and perfecting of the body of Christ.
The Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointment for the fulfilment of her great commission. Each disciple, who is redeemed by Jesus Christ, and regenerated by the Holy Spirit, is part of that body. For the constitution of the greater body of the Christ, new birth and a personal confession of Christ, are essentials for each individual in becoming a part of the body of Christ.
The Redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body - it is a privilege for all believers and, working as a sign to confirm the preached Word of God.
The resurrection of the saved to everlasting life and the lost to everlasting damnation.
We believe in the greatest commandment to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. The second commandment is to love you neighbour as yourself.
We believe in the great commission of Jesus Christ “Go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit” Matt 28:19-20
