The FCCA has 5 categories of membership for individuals:
Partner membership is for anyone serious about expanding the Kingdom of God on earth. This includes ministers in training (e.g. Bible School students, Theology students, ministers in training, etc), and any person working for a ministry organisation.
Partner members are actively involved in making disciples of Jesus Christ by sharing the gospel, teaching about Jesus and his truth, and ministering in the gifts which the Holy Spirit entrusted to them. This ministry is both within the church but also in every community, workplace, school, business environment, and social environment.
To become a Partner Member of the FCCA-International, you need to meet the following criteria.
Be a born-again believer and active disciple of Jesus Christ.
Be part of an active church community.
Align with the Confession of Faith of the FCCA.
Any person who ministers in their field of called ministry who wants or needs public confirmation and recognition for their ministry role from an internationally recognised Christian Church body. Commissioned Ministry Membership will provide credible recognition for specialised ministry.
Ministry members function in any specialised ministry environment for which they have a clear call and commissioning from God. They have experience and specific training and relevant accreditation to facilitate Christian ministry in one of the following areas:
Hospital ministry
Childerns Ministry
Missions and outreach
Supportive Christian Counselling
Worship ministry
Christian Education or Training
To become a Commissioned Ministry Member of the FCCA-International, you need to meet the following criteria.
Be a born-again believer and active disciple of Jesus Christ.
Be part of an active church community.
Align with the Confession of Faith of the FCCA.
Provide proof of relevant training for the specified field of ministry.
This is recognition for any person who is serving and empowering the church with their calling, gifts and skills to enable effectively ministry. This includes treasures, ministry managers.
Ministry Enablers empower churches and ministries to be good stewards of resources, time and focus. They have experience and skills in any of the following roles:
Financial Management (Church or Nonprofit)
Management (eg Outreach Coordinators, Facilities, Orphanage, etc)
Hospitality and ministry logistics
To become an Appointed Ministry Member of the FCCA-International, you need to meet the following criteria.
Be a born-again believer and active disciple of Jesus Christ.
Be part of an active church community.
Align with the Confession of Faith of the FCCA.
Meet the Biblical criteria for Deacons.
Provide proof of training or experience in empowerment skills
Appointed by a church or ministry in a relevant role. (Full-time or part-time)
Ordained Eldership is for those who have been tested and appointed in the role of Biblical Eldership within a church to be Custodians of the church, serving and ministering as stewards of the congregation God entrusted to them.
Ordained Elders from the Biblical model have the role and responsibility for the following:
Oversee: Govern the church according to the Word of Truth and Guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Rule: Lead the church in grace and truth.
Shepard: Provide or establish pastoral care for the church.
Sound Doctrine: Provide explanation or alignment of doctrine in the church. Teaching and preaching when and where necessary.
Equip the saints: Provide the necessary equipment for the believers so that they can do their work of ministry effectively.
To become a Ministry Custodian (Ordained Elder) in the FCCA-International, you need to meet the following criteria.
Be a Partner Member for a minimum of 1 year.
Be an active member of a church community.
Align with the Confession of Faith of the FCCA.
Meet the biblical criteria for Eldership.
Appointed by a church or ministry in an Eldership Role.
Ordained pastors are those who are primarily called to lead the church in oversight, governance and shepherding. Whether appointed in a full-time or part-time pastoral role within a church community. Ordination provides public recognition for the role.
Pastors from the Biblical model have the role and responsibility for the following:
Oversee: Govern the church according to the Word of Truth and Guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Rule: Lead the church in grace and truth.
Shepherd: Provide or establish pastoral care for the church.
Teach Sound Doctrine: Teaching and preaching Biblical truth.
Equip the saints: Function from the perspective of "the priesthood of all believers", and equip the church community to do effectively do their work of ministry.
To become an Ordained Pastor in the FCCA-International, you need to meet the following criteria.
Be a Partner Member for a minimum of 1 year.
Be an active member of a church community.
Align with the Confession of Faith of the FCCA.
Meet the biblical criteria for Eldership.
Appointed by a church or ministry in a Pastoral role.
